Zynga EVP Owen Van Natta's 2010 Total Compensation Was $43 Million

There are a lot of numbers that pop out in the Zynga IPO filing, but this is one that will burn up certain people in Silicon Valley.

Zynga EVP Own Van Natta’s total compensation from Zynga for 2010 was $43 million. Prior to joining Zynga Van Natta spent time at Myspace as CEO, and Facebook as COO.

(Myspace just sold for $35 million yesterday, which means if he wanted Van Natta could have bought the company. But why would he want to buy it?)

Almost all of Van Natta’s compensation comes from stock and option awards.

Below is the full compensation table which shows Zynga’s co-president of games received $29 million in compensation and the CFO received $18 million.

Founder and CEO Mark Pincus didn’t get much, but he’ll be fine. He owns 16% of Zynga and has already sold $110 million worth of Zynga shares.
