The New York City Marathon takes place on Sunday, with 40,000 people expected to run, job, walk, and crawl across 26.2 miles.

Among the tens of thousands will be a number of tech and media elite.

From a trio at Teen Vogue to a VC who calls Steve Nash a partner, we found a dozen.

But let us know ([email protected]) who we missed.

Best of luck to everyone who is running.

Lauren Leto is a member of Team Interactive.

The Text from Last Nights and Bantr founder also has a our favourite profile picture.

Foursquare's Erin Gleason is also on Team Interactive

NYC will be Gleason's third marathon. She's dedicating the run to her mother and grandmother.

Chris Kurdziel is ready to jog.

Emily Gannett is the third member of Team I.

Rachel Sklar called Gannett a 'social media marathoner.' The KlickableTV and IRL Productions founder is also a real one.

VC Mike Duda has a great backstory. founder Reece Pacheco always wanted to run a marathon.

He's doing so this year and learned that his nipples start to chafe at the 15-mile mark.

(Of course, he also wants to complete an Ironman, fly a helicopter, and go scubadiving with Great White Sharks in South Africa. We wish him the best of luck.)

Samantha John runs fast.

She also has the best Quora answers about running a marathon.

Three Teen Voguers are ready to run.

Andrew Bevan, Laurel Pantin, and Shiona Turini are hitting up the streets for Team Girls Club. The best-dressed group for sure and arguably the one with the best fundraisers as well.

Max Linsky

The and co-founder is running another marathon. He also is responsible for our favourite marathon-related tweet.

LearnVest's COO/CFO John Gardner is running.

He's getting out of LearnVest's swanky East Village office for just a bit.

HomeField's Joe Yevoli will bring an analytical perspective to the race.

Yevoli is running in memory of his father. He's very close to his fundraising goal.

Our very own Glynnis MacNicol is running her first one.

And boy is she excited. She's been talking about it for like four months. Not that we're tired of hearing about it or anything.
