You can now hitch a lift to Sydney airport in a Tesla

You can now hitch a lift in a Tesla from the Sydney CBD to the airport.

While it’ll set you back about $95 for the trip, you’ll be travelling in high-tech style, while doing your bit for the planet.

To put that into context, the train from the CBD to the airport is $17, a cab is about $50 and an Uber Lux (a 7 series BMW, S-Class Mercedes or an Audi A8) will cost you about $95.

Launching this month, Evoke is a luxury, zero emissions chauffeur service which is available to Sydneysiders. The company is also looking at expanding into Melbourne.

The white Tesla Model S is equipped with Wi-Fi, an iPad, Spotify, chargers, glass bottled water and mints to keep passengers connected and refreshed.

The vehicles are charged using Tesla’s supercharger network in Sydney which is carbon offset.

Evoke does executive transfers, lifts to the airports, weddings and can also be hired by the hour.
