YAHOO: Marissa Mayer Out For 1-2 Weeks With A Baby

After giving birth to her first son, Marissa Mayer will be gone from Yahoo’s offices for 1-2 weeks, the company tells Reuters.She’s not going to stop working, though. Yahoo says she “is involved in all critical decisions making,” she’ll just be working remotely.

One of the biggest, though not necessarily shouted, concerns about Mayer becoming CEO was how she was going to handle running the company and becoming a new mum.

We’re about to find out, but this preliminary report makes it sound like she won’t miss a beat.
