Yahoo Exec: Firing The Board Member Who Vetted Thompson 'Sends An Incredibly Twisted Message'

Patti Hart Face

The departure of board member Patti Hart – the one who was supposed to vet CEO Scott Thompson – has not appeased at least one still very upset Yahoo employee.

He writes to us to say:

It sends an incredibly twisted message to people when the only person who is forced to leave the company is the person who READ the invented resume, as opposed to the person who SUBMITTED / DRAFTED it.

This is coming from someone who likes Scott.

We think Thompson still owes Yahoo shareholders, employees and board members an explanation. If he doesn’t have one, then he should hit the bricks.

But what do other Yahoo employees think of Hart’s departure? Are you satisfied?  Let us know by emailing me at [email protected] or calling 646 376 6014. We’ll keep you anonymous.
