The internet has been abuzz with the yacht explosion hoax that happened off the coast of Sandy Hook, NJ yesterday. We did some research, and it appears that the yacht Blind Date that was supposedly sunk is actually for sale for a mere $23.9 million.

If Blind Date did actually sink, it would have truly been a shame. This beautiful yacht made her debut in 2009 at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.

This Blind Date is currently in Florida and is preparing to set out for the Mediterranean…so obviously it wasn’t in NJ yesterday to explode.

The design is clean and it just looks like a relaxing place to be. We also don’t readily spot anything that could readily cause the massive explosion that supposedly occurred yesterday…besides the 16,000 gallon fuel tank.

The hull of Blind Date doesn't seem out of the ordinary to us. We like the way most pillars are angled forward to convey movement.

We think that the upper decks look like great places to relax.

Shade is definitely a great idea up here, unless you want to be as red as a lobster.

Go down a level, and the shade will keep you cool while you still get to enjoy the views.

The bar looks like the perfect place to do some entertaining.

The living room looks like a great place to curl up with a good book or to watch a movie.

Not a bad place to watch the world go by.

This dining table looks a little cramped for our tastes.

Blind Date has an amazing, two-level master suite.

She even has a poster of a classic amphicar over the bed.

Even though the master suite is really incredible, the other staterooms aren't too shabby either.

We aren't too sure about the fur on the end of these beds...not our taste.

Just look at this bathroom. Gorgeous.
