Motorola's Xoom 2 May Be Here In Time For The Holidays

Motorola’s Xoom 2 tablet will likely launch in time for the Holidays (at least in the Europe), and cost about $550 U.S.

Engadget snagged a photo of an ad from European retailer Carphone Warehouse that shows renders of the Xoom 2. They look exactly like the leaked shots of the tablet that we’ve been seeing passed around for weeks now.

The Carphone Warehouse ad promotes the Xoom 2 as a Christmas gift, so it’s safe to assume we’ll get it in time for the Holidays.

Many, including us, expected Motorola to announce the Xoom 2 along with the Droid Razr a few weeks ago. That didn’t happen, and Motorola reps were pretty coy when we asked them what was up with the delay. If Motorola plans on sticking with a Xoom 2 launch in time for the Holidays, expect an official announcement very soon.
