Earlier on Thursday, we posted the best journalism job-ad ever. We just found the worst one.

The Associated Press needs a receptionist for its Washington D.C. bureau.

The duties include “answering approximately 200 calls daily,” “placing international calls for colleagues when needed,” and “meet and greet ALL AP visitors including GMS and special clients.”

It is a good job, make no mistake, but the ad leaves us so non-plussed. There’s no life, no spark.

Then again, we guess not everyone cane be the Sarasota Herald-Tribune‘s Matthew Doig.
