A 25-year-old woman died during a flight from Brazil to Dallas this morning, the Houston Chronicle reported.American Airlines flight 962 left Sao Paulo at 1:12 a.m. and was diverted to Houston while the Brazilian national was ill.
The woman reportedly died before the plane landed.
According to ABC, American Airlines did not share any details of the woman’s illness, and police say she was attended to by members of the flight crew and a physician who happened to be on the flight.
Her body was taken to the morgue by the medical examiner’s office, and police and airport officials are investigating her death.
