Matthew Lee, the man who accompanied the beaten and still hospitalized Giants fan Bryan Stow to Dodger Stadium, has died from his allergy to nuts.Stow’s friend was believed to have consumed a salad that contained nuts that triggered an allergic reaction.

Lee was expected to testify against Stow’s alleged attackers Louie Sanchez and Marvin Norwood, as one of the few witnesses of the parking lot beating.

Prosecutors believe that Lee was actually attacked first, but the assailants devoted most of their attention to Stow.
