This Is What Moneyball Would Be Like If Lewis Wrote It About The Yankees

Last week the movie “Moneyball” opened with a strong showing at the box office. Based on the book with the same title by Michael Lewis, “Moneyball” is a behind-the-scenes look at how one team attempted to level the playing field in an increasingly lopsided baseball world.

One of the biggest criticisms of the Moneyball is that the A’s haven’t won a World Series, and therefore the system doesn’t work. And what does work is spending lots of money. After all, the Yankees have been in the playoffs 16 of the last 17 years.

So what if somebody had made a similar movie about the Yankees? That is exactly what the folks at wondered. The result is the video below…
