Assuming the reports are true, about 6.5 million LinkedIn passwords have been stolen.

LinkedIn says it sees no evidence of that, but we suggest changing your password just in case

If you use your LinkedIn password on other sites, we also recommend changing your password there. If the breach did in fact happen, it’s possible hackers could use your login info on other popular services.

(As a general rule, it’s never a good idea to use the same login information on multiple services.)
