We went to the first vegan döner kebab restaurant in the UK -- here's what it's like

  • What The Pitta! is a vegan döner kebab restaurant in Camden, London.
  • They have other popups in Shoreditch and Croydon.
  • They serve a fully vegan menu, the kebab is made of soya pieces and they create their own vegan tzatziki.

The UK’s first vegan döner kebab restaurant has just opened in London.

What The Pitta! opened on the 9th March and serves a fully vegan menu. Their döner kebabs are available with bread, cous cous, or chips.

The bread is made fresh to order and they even have their own vegan tzatziki.

What the Pitta was started a year and a half ago by Rojdan Gul and Cem Yildiz, it originally opened as a popup restaurant and grew from there.
