The Next Big Social Network Has A Lot More Reach Potential Than Facebook And Twitter

Sulia is a social network that allows users to subscribe to and connect over specific topics and subjects of interest, ranging from art and entertainment to sports and tech, as well as breaking news and events.

Unlike Facebook and Twitter where users broadcast their message to their circle of friends, the posts within this new content-based platform can reach a vast number of users, who gather around a common interest, rather reaching only a limited number of acquaintances.

CEO Jonathan Glick chat with our contributor Lindsay Campbell about how Sulia works, where the idea came from, and how the subject-based social network makes money below.

Glick was named one of the coolest people in New York tech by SAI this year.
