What Hard Landing? The Chinese Are Still Going Bonkers For Kentucky Fried Chicken

So much for the Chinese hard landing.Shares of Yum Brunds are rallying over 1% after-hours, after the owner of KFC said same-store sales in China surged 19% vs. estimates of 14.2% (according to Blomberg).

Total revenue for the quarter was $3.27 billion vs. $3.09 billion.

EPS of $.83 came in a penny ahead of expectations.
