BuzzFeed, the reigning king of Internet memes, has made a print ad. Like, on paper.
Sadly, it features no animals.
Ad execs saw the full-page buy when flipping through the pages of Advertising Week’s 228-page long guide to the five-day event — perhaps when they were looking for one of BuzzFeed’s many panels on social advertising. The digital media company recently hired Jeff Greenspan, who spent time in Silicon Valley and Madison Avenue, to be its first-ever chief creative officer.
