We just had a huge week (jobs reports, earnings, etc.) and now we have a big weekend coming up.Today is the Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting, which should produce scores of choice quotes from Warren Buffett and his sidekick Charlie Munger.

It’s a big deal, even if you’re not a Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meeting.

The event isn’t streamed, but we’ll be doing our best to mine Twitter and so forth for all the best commentary.

And then of course tomorrow we have two big elections: France and Greece.

In France, the socialist Francois Hollande is the expected winner. And when/if he does win, there are big fears that he’ll stop France’s cooperation with Germany on Europe matters.

And then in Greece the question is: How well will the fringe parties do, and will the mainstream parties like PASOK and New Democracy still have a big chunk of the parliament. If they don’t, the future of Greece’s cooperation in Europe is in doubt.

We’ll have coverage of all that tomorrow afternoon.

Should be interesting!
