The lesson from this video clip taken with a dash cam in Malabar, Sydney, is to remember the handbrake when you stop in the middle of the road and get out of you car.
The mid road incident was apparently sparked by one car hitting the horn when another stopped without indicating.
The clip has been viewed more than 630,000 times and shared more than 2000 times:
The driver of the car which rolled back can be heard saying to the other driver: “You caused that.”
But the driver with the dash cam had to tell the driver to get back to his car because he had put the handbrake on but left the car in reverse.
“Before anyone asks why I didn’t just go around, it’s double lines around a blind corner,” writes Sean in a Facebook post to Dash Cam Owners Australia.
