Forget Friday. Warner Bros. just released the new “Dark Knight Rises” trailer online and we’re speechless.
Last week, it was announced the third trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s much-anticipated summer blockbuster would air ahead of “The Avengers.”
This morning, Warner Bros. launched a world-wide viral campaign on thedarkknightrises.com, asking fans to find Batman graffiti and either email or tweet it to tdkr0720202012 [at] gothampolicedepartment.com or #tdkr07202012 respectively. Each graffiti mark found produced a frame from the new trailer.
The task, spread across locations including Argentina, Germany, Spain, London and North America, was remarkably completed by this evening, unlocking the new trailer. (Holy smokes, Batman. Bet no one saw that coming.)
We’ve already watched it three times. It’s still not enough.
