George Zimmerman, the neighbourhood watchman accused of killing Trayvon Martin, was ordered to return to jail this weekend.
A judge revoked Zimmerman’s bond after prosecutors claimed he lied to the court about his financial status and failed to report a second passport.
Now that he’s in custody, Zimmerman isn’t allowed to be bailed out again, according to the Seminol County Sheriff’s Office website.
The Orlando Sentinel caught Zimmerman’s return to jail on video. Watch as Zimmerman ducks out of a white minivan and is quickly escorted inside, without answering any media questions.
Mark O’Mara, Zimmerman’s attorney, said he plans to file a motion Monday seeking a new bond hearing, according to the AP.
