Warren Buffett Had Us Laughing Hard After He Burned Joe Kernen On Squawk This Morning

Warren Buffett just finished his 3-hour long interview on CNBC’s Squawk Box this morning, and aside from the usual insight on the economy, markets and Facebook/Apple, Buffett also showed off his comedic chops at the expense of CNBC anchor Joe Kernen.

When Andrew Ross Sorkin asked Buffett about his failed $22 billion deal that was revealed over the weekend, Buffett said he would definitely continue looking and attempt to acquire another company.

“When a girl hangs up on me once I try again,” he explained.

“Well when you call back and her husband answers normally that puts a damper on things, eh Warren?” Kernen asked, likely referring to Buffett’s comment at Berkshire Hathaway’s shareholder meeting that he was more likely to be killed by a jealous husband than prostate cancer.

Without missing a beat, Buffett replied “It’s certainly been tough when I call your house.”

Brutal.
