Wait, There Are Some Really Ugly Details In This Consumer Credit Report

The more you look under the hood at this consumer credit number, the worse it is.

First of all, the amount of revolving credit actually shrunk sequentially.

But worse than that, look at the holders of outstanding consumer credit.

There was only one holder where consumer credit grew, and that was the government, and that indicates student loans.

Look on the far right column, In almost every other category, consumer credit holders either held less debt, or only a smidgen more.
