CBS has given a script commitment to a “Brady Bunch” reboot, with a number of names already attached to the project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Vince Vaughn will executive produce with Victoria Vaughn and Peter Billingsley under their Wild West Picture Show Productions. The production company currently produces the TBS comedy “Sullivan & Son.”

Mike Mariano (“Raising Hope”) will write the script and executive produce along with Lloyd Schwartz, son of original series creator Sherwood Schwartz.

The series would revolve around a divorced Bobby Brady, now with his own children, who remarries and starts a new family.

If the reboot materialises, it will be the latest in a trend that includes CW’s “90210,” CBS’ “Hawaii Five-O” and NBC’s upcoming “Munsters” series. ABC also failed to revive “Charlie’s Angels” last fall.

CBS’ comedy landscape may be perfectly suited for a very “Brady” remake. But please, no Cousin Oliver.
