Aston Martin’s DB11 is the car James Bond wishes he had for Spectre – a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 generating 600BHP and 700Nm of torque, with a top speed of 322km/h.
Hitting 0-100km/h in 3.9 sec, it would leave the DB10 in its wake.
Ahead of the supercar going into production last month, 50 lucky customers from around the globe had the chance to try the DB11 in testing conditions in the Remarkables mountain range near Queenstown, along with others in the Aston Martin range as part of the New Zealand On Ice program in August.
Aston Martin put together this cool video of everyone having way too much fun as they slid the DB11 across the snow and ice. The luxury sports car maker offers weekends like this as part of its Art of Living series for its customers. If you’re keen to score an invite, the DB11 is $AU395,000, excluding on-road costs (or for lucky Kiwis, just $NZ365,000 exc on-road), with the first local deliveries due at the end of 2016.
