As is customary following NFL games, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and Ravens coach John Harbaugh approached in the middle of the field for the not-required-but-really-it-is post-game handshake. And when Harbaugh wished Tomlin “congratulations” on the win, the Ravens coach was apparently not happy with Tomlin’s lack of response.
Tomlin appears to shake Harbaugh’s hand without responding when Harbaugh proceeds to pull Tomlin back in to make sure he heard the message. At that point, there is some disagreement over what Tomlin said, but neither coach looked very happy with the situation.
We may never know what was behind this awkward moment. But if there is one thing we have learned, it is that the Harbaugh brothers may be good at coaching, but they are not good at post-game handshakes…
