Here's The Dumb Penalty That Led To Three Early Goals For The Kings In Game Six

The Los Angeles Kings are hoping to close out the New Jersey Devils tonight in game six and win their first-ever Stanley Cup. And they couldn’t have scripted a better start thanks to a horrible penalty by Steve Bernier in the first period.

With just over 10 minutes left in the first period, Bernier was given a five minute boarding penalty and was ejected for driving Rob Scuderi into the boards from behind.

The Kings would go on to score three times during the ensuing power play, with the third coming with less than 10 seconds remaining on the man-advantage.
