Dirk Nowitzki has perfected the fall-back jump shot. And at 7-foot-0, it might be the most unstoppable shot since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s sky-hook. So it was only fitting, that Kobe Bryant, reminiscent of Magic Johnson’s baby sky-hook, has now added his own fall-back jump shot.
In last night’s win over the Denver Nuggets, Kobe unleashed several of what TNT announcer Steve Kerr dubbed, “The Kobe Nowitzki.” It proved to be especially effective against the taller Danilo Gallinari.
After the game, when asked about the move being an example of improving his game, Kobe, with a smirk, responded by saying, “no, I improved Nowitzki’s move. I can shoot mine from the 3-point line. He can’t do that.”
