Josh Hamilton Ties Major League Record With Four Home Runs

Josh Hamilton of the Texas Rangers became just the 16th player in big league history to hit four home runs in one game. He also added a double, going 5-5 and driving in eight runs in the 10-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles.Hamilton is the first player to hit four home runs in a game since Carlos Delgado did so for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2003. His 18 total bases is an American League record and is one short of the Major League record.
