Jon Stewart ripped the mayors of Boston, Chicago and San Francisco mayors on a segment of The Daily Show Thursday for saying they would not allow Chick-Fil-A to move to their cities due to its executive’s anti-gay marriage stance.
“He is a private citizen,” Stewart said about Dan Cathy, Chick-Fil-A’s president and COO. “It is a private business. He’s got every right to his opinions.”
“I’m not sure which Amendment covers that, but I think it’s maybe in the top one,” Stewart added later.
