Alabama will play Notre Dame for the national championship after beating Georgia 32-28 in the SEC championship game. But Bama had to sweat until the final second as Georgia was inside the 10-yard line looking for the go-ahead touchdown.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, a pass that looked like it was intended for a receiver in the endzone was tipped and caught by a receiver short of the endzone, who then slipped and went down. The clock ran out and Georgia didn’t get another play.
