A driver in Brazil intentionally drove his car into dozens of bicyclists holding a peaceful rally in the town of Porte Alegre. No one was killed, but at least nine people were seriously injured.
Folks in big cities are used to these regular “Critical Mass” bike rides, where hundreds (sometimes thousands) of cyclists can take over city streets for a few hours. But apparently one driver could take it and lost control of himself.
He later claimed that he was provoked by cyclists who were banging on his car.
