Use This App Right Now To Check If Your LinkedIn Password Was Hacked

You can check if your LinkedIn account password was stolen by hackers earlier today with an app called LeakedIn.It’s run by Fictive Kin, a design studio that has a deal with Betaworks, and designer Chris Shiflett.

However, we still advise that you use this at your own risk.

A huge number of passwords were leaked from LinkedIn earlier today and shared on a Russian hacker site. LeakedIn will check to see if you password is on that list.

Here’s what it does: you type in your password, and it will convert it to a “hash.” LeakedIn checks if that hash is on the list of compromised hashes.
