After hitting a high of 3.244% on Wednesday, benchmark US 10-year government bond yields are tumbling in Asia, recently falling to session lows of 3.148%.
They currently trade at 3.15%.
The decline reflects safe haven demand at a time when stocks across are tumbling across the world, and may be helping to keep losses in Asian currency markets limited at this point.
