In each one, the red line is private sector jobs. The green line is local government jobs. The blue line is state jobs.
As you can see, the Obama term has been characterised by generally rising private sector jobs and weakening public sector jobs.
Under Bush, the trajectory of private sector jobs was much worse, while state and local grew nicely.
