The Unlocked iPhone 5 Is Available Now Starting at $649

Apple began selling an unlocked version of the iPhone 5 today.It costs $649, $749, and $849 for the 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB models, respectively.

The unlocked iPhone 5 only works on GSM carriers like AT&T. (It won’t work on CDMA carriers like Sprint and Verizon.)

You’ll also need a special micro SIM card from your carrier to access their network.

The unlocked iPhone 5 is available at Apple Stores and online.
