Good news! UK GDP for Q2 is strong.

But wait…

Bloomberg:

The U.K. economy’s fastest quarter of growth in nine years was fuelled by the biggest jump in government spending since 2008 and a surge in construction.

And yet the government is going on an austerity diet, meaning this spending will reverse itself soon.

Look out.
