Everyone made the same joke about the NYSE being down

At 11:32 a.m. ET on Wednesday, the New York Stock Exchange halted all trading due to some “technical issues.” While this is still being investigated, all symbols are not trading and all open orders are now canceled.

Naturally, the internet reacted in the best (and worst) ways possible.

People started tweeting jokes at a rapid pace. The only problem? All of them were pretty much the same.

These people tweeted “Glitch better have my money,” referencing Rihanna’s colossal song of the summer “Bitch Better Have My Money.”

These people wanted the NYSE to “blow on it,” a practice perfected by all ’90s kids who thought video-game cartridges could be revived by blowing air into them

These people wanted the NYSE to “unplug” their system.
