More details on Twitter’s latest funding round: it is looking to raise $400 million at a valuation of $8 billion, reports the New York Times.

The investment will be led by Yuri Milner’s DST, with participation from Kleiner Perkins, who is already a big stakeholder.

Last week, Twitter was reported to be looking to close a deal at a $7 billion valuation, but the investors weren’t known.

Whatever the exact amount, it’s a big jump from the last investment of $200 million in December, which valued Twitter at about $4 billion.
