See inside the swanky party where the Trumps celebrated New Year's Eve

President Donald Trump hosted a New Year’s Eve party at his Mar-a-Lago private club on Sunday night complete with the glitz and glam his fetes are known for.

See inside the party, with details from the White House press pool:

Trump, first lady Melania Trump, and their 11-year-old son, Barron, paused to talk to reporters on the red carpet leading into the Grand Ballroom, where the dinner party was held.

Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was there with his wife, Louise Linton, who wore a fur caplet — like many of the women in attendance.

Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, both advisers to the president, attended the gala with their kids Arabella and Joseph. It appeared to be past baby Theodore’s bedtime.

Happy New Year’s Eve! xx

Donald Trump Jr. was there with his oldest son, Don III. He snapped a selfie with his father.

Eric Trump and his wife, Lara, posed for the cameras. She wore a jumpsuit by Chiara Boni La Petite Robe.

Thank you, 2017! Hello 2018! ????????????????❤️????

Inside the Grand Ballroom, tables were elaborately decorated with high centerpieces and sparkly tablecloths.

Giant flowers hung from the ceiling.

Swarms of guests tried to snap photos of the president as he arrived.

Some were lucky enough to get candid shots.

Gina Loudon, a Fox News contributor, posed with Eric and Lara Trump. She also captured a moment of Donald Trump and his youngest daughter, Tiffany, and took pictures of the food.

The dinner menu included the Trump iceberg wedge salad, (with Roquefort cheese, grape tomatoes, bacon, and red onion), Maine lobster ravioli (with fennel mousseline, olive, citrus verjus sauce), 7X sliced tenderloin and pan-seared sea bass (with taro root puree, morel mushrooms, roasted heirloom carrots, sweet cherries, and burgundy jus), and baked Alaska.

A cover band played hits, and the president and first lady were spotted swaying to the music.

Melania Trump donned a plastic New Year’s hat. Large projector screens onstage showed the ball drop in New York’s Times Square.

“As our Country rapidly grows stronger and smarter, I want to wish all of my friends, supporters, enemies, haters, and even the very dishonest Fake News Media, a Happy and Healthy New Year,” Trump tweeted on Sunday night. “2018 will be a great year for America!”
