Last year, Donald Trump bought bankrupt billionaire Patricia Kluge’s vineyard and winery for $6.2 million, a tiny fraction of the property’s estimated $70 million value prior to the recession.
While Kluge has fallen into bankruptcy and auctioned off many of her personal possessions, the Trump family has apparently been plotting to overhaul the vineyard and turn it into a haven for weddings in the Washington DC area (via Curbed DC).
Eric Trump, the third son of Donald, just released a video in which he helicopters onto the former Kluge estate and details plans to give the place the “Trump touch,” including rebuilding the pavilion and turning the old carriage museum into a catering hall.
