Warning: This post contains spoilers. Stuff is starting to get exciting … and weird on “True Blood.”
Jason isn’t sure how to cope with the news of his parent’s real death, Lafayette can’t deal with his weird magical voodoo and the smoke monster from “Lost” makes an appearance. (We said it gets weird.)
Meanwhile, Tara’s “talking” to Hoyt, Jesus’ head is floating around and someone gets shot.
Plus, the search for Russell Edgington gets a massive lead.
Yes. A lot is going on in Bon Temps.
As Sookie pointed out, this week’s episode felt like something out of a Halloween horror film.
Eric and Bill decide this is the perfect time to recruit Sookie in their search for Russell Edgington.
Knowing she's never going to get the vampires off her back, Sookie gives in and helps Bill and Eric on their quest.
Their ice stakes are set to launch at dawn, launching wooden stakes into their bodies, killing both men.
What that means: they need to set the search for Russell into overdrive.
She reads some guy's mind and immediately leads the Scooby Doo gang ... er Bill, Eric and Alcide to Edgington's whereabouts.
Turns out Nora, Eric's sister, is responsible for letting the 3000-year-old vampire loose.
Guess those faerie powers come in handy.
She goes from running a human bar to a vamp one. She also attempts feeding on the paying customers.
Pam makes sure that never happens again.
Jessica gives Tara some advice: life as a vampire will get better. She even offers to be her girlfriend. (We're guessing Jessica didn't know Tara played for the other team for a while.)
Jessica let's Tara onto a little secret--apparently feeding on a human is better than sex.
Suddenly, being a vampire seems a bit more appealing to Tara ...
Tara begins feeding on Jessica's ex-boyfriend. Unsurprisingly, she's not happy about that.
... or at least that's how it seems.
While dealing with the aftermath of realising he almost killed Sookie, Lafayette asked for Jesus to help him if he's out there.
You ask and you shall receive.
Lafayette wakes up to Jesus' head in his home with his lips sewn up. We then get a shot of Lafayette's mum on screen ... also with Jesus' head.
After Sam finds his shifter friends killed, he checks up on Luna to make sure she's safe. She seems to be doing well--despite her daughter's werewolf problem.
When Sam leaves, he's blindsided by Shifter shooters and shot left reeling on the floor. Luna comes out and gets shot as well.
Hearing all the noise, Emma runs out, Sam tells her to run. On command, she shifts into a werewolf and disappears.
What we may have forgotten: Edgington was supplying werewolves with vampire blood in exchange for protection.
He most likely has them at his disposal.
If so, that's good news for Edgington, those same werewolves currently hate Alcide for killing their packmaster.
- Terry and Patrick get kidnapped by their ex-army pal: They begin discussing some big scary smoke monster straight out of 'Lost' is coming to kill them after they slaughtered a slew of innocent people … oh and then it appeared.
- Jason dreams about the way his parents really died (by vampires): Envision real-time Jason in He-Man kiddie pajamas watching blood squirt out of his parents necks into cereal at the breakfast table.
- Andy and Jason deal with the aftermath of their Faerieworld adventure: Andy decides he won't let 'Hadley and her sexy faerie friends' mess his relationship up with Holly.
