A Quora user recently presented the question: “What is it like to be the defence attorney of someone you strongly believe committed the crime?”

One user got 1548 votes for his candid answer to the question. Tre Critelli, who’s currently a lawyer on the Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board, explained to Quora users why it’s less stressful to represent guilty clients than innocent ones.
