A tornado that hit the city of Blagoveshchensk in Eastern Russia killed one and injured dozens of others, reports RIA Novosti.
Described as the first tornado to hit a city in Russia, the twister caused 80 million rubles ($2.9 million) of damage.
The AP reports that the tornado hit sunday night. The province has declared a state of emergency.
