Former Mayor Ed Koch, remembered for bringing NYC from the brink during the 1970s with wit and charm died this morning.
Obviously in political circles he was a giant, but he was loved in the world of finance as well. This morning on Bloomberg TV, Tom Keene called him a “friend of the Bloomberg family.”
It isn’t every day that the super professional Keene sounds even a little emotional, but it’s also not every day that someone as monumental as Koch passes away either.
