With a young, inexperienced receiving corps
decimated by injuries and free agency, Tom Brady struggled through the first three weeks of the season.
Last night he finally returned to form, throwing for 312 yards and two touchdowns in a big 30-23 road win in Atlanta.
He was downright giddy about it. After the game Brady flashed a peace sign and a goofy smile at the camera as he walked away from the interview.
The man is on an emotional roller coaster right now. He’s on the back end of his prime, and he’s stuck desperately trying to make things work with the worst receivers he has ever had.
He’s trying to out-run the creeping shadow of age, and he’s dropping all pretense when it comes to letting his feeling be known.
