What the Washington Redskins lack in talent or quarterback play, they certainly make up for in bravado.Count Tim Hightower among the list of Redskins willing to make bold predictions. The running back told the rest of the NFC Tuesday they’re just playing for second place.

“The fun will be in February when you guys are interviewing us up in Indy,” Hightower told CSNWashington.com when asked about how he’d enjoy his bye week.

The Super Bowl happens to fall in February. And it will be taking place in Indianapolis.

“Very bold prediction,” he went on to say. “But I’m gonna stand by it.”

This comes just a day after tight end Chris Cooley said it was “amazing” to watch Tony Romo choke against the Detroit Lions.

And just weeks after quarterback Rex Grossman claimed to have the best receiving corps in the league and that his team would win the NFC East

To be fair, the 3-1 Redskins sit atop their division. But the team’s victories include a win against a hobbled Giants team, a one-point home win against Arizona and a victory against the winless Rams.
