Tim Beshara’s day job is adviser to Greens senator for Tasmania Peter Whish-Wilson. He’s spent his career working on environmental issues, while his mum, Gillian Abbott has been a WIRES wildlife carer for many years.

As he went on to explain: “Apparently a teddy on a string makes for a good companion for an orphaned wallaby. Who would have thought.”
