Leave the cord at home -- this pair of jeans can charge your iPhone

The per cent on your iPhone is dangerously low, and so you’re going to need a lifeline. Fotunately, it’s in your pants.

Welcome to #Hello, a line developed by Joe’s Jeans, where the denim classic is being turned into a mini charging booth for iPhones. The mid-rise skinny currently makes room for the iPhone 5, 5s, or 6 (but not a 6 Plus), along with a custom battery pack, reported Mashable.

#Hello might make a dent in your wallet with its pricetag of $US189, especially since it doesn’t come with the battery pack itself, which is an additional $US50 but fitted specially for #Hello.

Another caveat: the jean and pack duo can charge the iPhone 5 and 5S up to 85 per cent, and the iPhone 6 only up to 70 per cent.

It looks like fashion designers have been increasingly moulding their visions around the Apple smartphones. Mashable reported the American Eagle spokesperson saying, “currently our men’s pockets already accommodate the larger phones including the iPhone 6 [and 6 Plus]. Women’s is still being evaluated.”

L. L. Bean also noted that it has adjusted pocket sizes for iPhone 6 owners.
