A Decatur, Ga. man just sang his way to his dream home.
After Bank of America missed three closing dates on Ken Williams’ prospective home, he put pen to paper and took his frustrations out in a hilarious YouTube video.
“Bank of America, you’re making me so mad/I wanna buy this house really bad,” Williams sang in “Close This Loan”, strumming his guitar outside an actual BoA branch.
“We can sign papers and grab a beer/Then you take my money for 30 years.”
The closing had been in limbo for more than 70 days, Williams told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Throughout the process, two BoA employees handling his paperwork quit and he was about to get slapped with daily fees by the seller.
When the bank didn’t return his emails or calls, Williams posted the video and had friends reach out via social media.
In the end, his little song and dance trick actually worked.
Five days and more than 6,500 YouTube views later, Bank of America reached out and closed the deal on Dec. 16, he told followers.
Score 1 for the little man!
