There are so many important things that women keep in their work bags to make daily life easier, and the commute to and from work more bearable.
We’ve already looked at the most important things every guy should keep in his work bag, but what about the ladies?
We asked the women around the office to share the most important things in their work bag.
From a comfy pair of good-quality headphones, to chewing gum and mints, here’s what they had to say.
I commute on the train and in the cold Melbourne weather a runny nose is inevitable and I HATE people who sniff on the train – its disgusting.
Lots of them!
Perhaps the most versatile thing one can keep on them. Long days, delayed flights, a quick refresh - these bad boys always have you covered.
They’re so useful!
One for the hands, one for the face.
It is a necessity for my bag with all these cold winter days. My colleague can vouch for this too!
I'm a fan of the Belkin Mixit Power Rockstar.
My phone dies every ten minutes it would seem.
Bose QuietComfort 25's are my jam for surviving public transport or flights.
They keep me company on the train commute (and block out loud-chewers!)
In case I want to watch a show or listen to music in a café, or on a random walk.
I don’t go anywhere not listening to a podcast and I can hear messages/emails/calls without the whole train carriage knowing.
Nothing upsets me more than wanting to watch the latest Punkee Bachelor recap on the commute to work and not having headphones.
I track down the Upward Commercial style day-to-a-page every year - it has 15 minute schedule increments which is super handy for keeping track of what is scheduled on Gizmodo, and there's plenty of room to write in meeting details, too.
I too love the old school hard diary – Kikki K all the way for me.
I take one everywhere I go. Including parties and weddings. You never know when you might need one!
Mine’s from ecoffee cups in a cute print. I’m trying to stay away from disposables as much as possible these days.
I have a complex when it comes comes to snagged, dirty nails. I can't stand it!
I hate glare.
In a case -- although I always seem to scratch them anyway.
Even when it's cloudy because I don’t want crow’s feet.
Always paranoid I might have bad breath.
This is probably specific to my line of work, but you never know when you'll run into a good contact!
My friends used to tease me, they said “Rena’s makeup bag is her survival kit, that’s all she needs for the day”.
One that has everything in it.
My beauty kit also includes a little mirror, tissues, lip balm, hand moisturiser and hair ties so I’m never caught without.
Mine's got a mirror, two dark eyebrow shades and tweezers and I can’t tell you how handy those three things have been at various times in my life (related to brows or not!)
